What sort of benefits are me and my gf entitled to when we start a family?

Me and my gf are both 20 and i am currently on sickness due to ill health benefits and my gf is on jobseekers allowance. What sort of benefits and accomodation are we entitled to? We both live in the UK thanks

1. I find it almost comical that you are on "ill health benefits" but have the capacity to make a child. First, why not marry the girlfriend before considering making a kid? Second, if you cannot support yourself and the g/f as it is, why do you want to bring a kid into the mix and make them grow up in poverty? You are supposed to be emotionally and financially stable before having a kid.
2. You have disability benefits and your girlfriend gets jobseekers allowance. Does that answer your question? In terms of the future, with any luck you will recover your health and your girlfriend will get a job. Maybe you will get married and get free of benefits which is just as well as they are likely to be cut back or stopped over the next year or two.
3. The words "entitled to" says it all. You're both already receiving government benefits and you want to know another way others can pay your way through life? Poor kid (monetarily and philosophically speaking).
