What City of Chicago environmental issues you think go overlooked?

Is there anything the city should focus on more? Is there anything you think needs to be researched and possibly corrected? If your city isn't Chicago, are there any issues in your particular city you'd like to see studied more as well? Thanks!

1. I know that they try but, the rats the size of cats are a problem and the fact that some of the beaches get closed every summer because they aren't "safe" what's up with that? Chicago is a fun city I have lived here 30+ yrs.
2. recycling (please--blue bags in with the rest of the garbage? What were you thinking?) encouraging public transit & lessening the number of cars cleaning the river (altho that has improved over the decades)
3. Get rid of the Liberals. Chicago is infested with them
